Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are pleased to announce that this year’s quiz will take place on Thursday, 17th September at Venue Cymru.  Please give as much support as you can by entering the eleventh quiz in aid of St. David’s Hospice who really need as much help as we can give them. You and your colleagues are invited to test your knowledge and pit your wits against some of the brightest sparks in North Wales, whilst supporting St. David’s Hospice, on Thursday, 17th September 2026.  We look forward to welcoming you to Venue Cymru for a welcome drink and a hot meal at 5.45.p.m., with a view to commencing the quiz promptly at 7.p.m. 

This innovative and interactive quiz of eight rounds is courtesy of Worldspan which include General Knowledge, Observation and Music.  Sophie and her team have already done us proud for three quizzes and they have again expressed their willingness to support us by devising the quiz and providing the technical support required in order to ensure a smooth-running quiz in 2026.   

Entry fee is £165 for a team of four and includes a welcome drink and a hot meal on arrival.  If you don’t have three teammates, then please let us know and I feel sure that we will be able to make up a team with others who wish to support the evening. Members, guests and friends are all welcome to participate.

We have 8 major sponsors whose logos you will see at the bottom of this notification, and we are exceedingly grateful for their support.  We are also grateful for the support of the eight round sponsors.   All proceeds raised will go to St. David’s Hospice, which is a local charity providing hospice care to adult patients.  The Hospice delivers free, high quality, specialist palliative care to patients with advanced illnesses, their families and carers. 

There will also be a raffle with some lovely prizes – all of which have been donated   Those of you who may not wish to participate in the quiz can still purchase raffle tickets at £5 each. Winners of the raffle will be announced on the night and also notified in writing.  

This is a fundraising evening which the North Wales Business Club is pleased to support with Barclays matching the funds raised which over the ten years, thanks to you, amount to:
